At SPI!

Old Man Winter keeps encroaching on our tropical setting and refuses to release its grip.  As the Spring Breakers are arriving, they are being greeted with less then ideal beach weather.  Today the high of the day was achieved early this morning at 58 degrees and is now steadily dropping with a predicted low around 40 degrees!!  WOW.

Everyone seems anxious for us to have a fish fry like we did last year - I need the weather to cooperate so we can get enough whiting filets for the fry.  Hopefully, over the next week or so we can schedule the 2nd fish fry!  Watch for the posting!

Many of our friends have taken an interest in our travels we are undertaking as Fantasy Ambassadors. Joan and I hope that some will be able to join us and partake in the adventures and destinations in the future.

Below are some random pictures of many of our friends enjoying SPI in between fluctuations in the weather.  Thank You Larry Slate and Carol Savage for some of the pictures you shared with us so we can all enjoy.

Fishing remains spotty with days that are good and days I can not get out on the beach.
I guess that's why they call it fishing!

Nice 22 inch Black Drum.  Was very tasty!

 Yummy Birthday Cake
With the departure of many friends March 1st, I can't understand why anyone would want to start heading North yet, Jill and Vince Egan hosted their last "Bloody Mary" Sunday on February 23rd.

As with all gatherings it seems, we are always searching for enough to eat - Yeah Right!
The hardest part is which one of the many delectable items to try first.
One of our friends from Canada travels around locally with their "Spyder."  Note the tow which their dog "Jewel" accompanies them on each trip.
As with all of our travels, we meet such a variety of great people!  The best part of traveling is the time we get to chat together.

We discovered another musician amongst us recently at a gathering one evening.
He is Steve who works at the campground.
What a talented person he is!
